Organizing Files and Folders To Delete a file or folder: 1. Double-click My Computer. Find the file or folder you want to delete, and then click on it to select it. 2. To delete the file, there are several options: o On the File menu, select Delete. Press the 'Delete' key. Drag the file to the Recycle Bin.
1. Select the disk drive or folder in which you want to place the new folder using My Computer or Windows Explorer. 2. On the File menu, point to New, and then click Folder. Type a name for the new folder, and press Enter To Copy a file to a floppy disk:
1. Select the folder(s) or file(s) that you would like to copy using My Computer or Windows Explorer. 2. On the File menu, select 'Send To', and then select the A: floppy or the B: floppy. Selecting Multiple Items for Moving, Copying or Deleting: · You can select multiple items by pressing and holding down the CTRL key as you click each item you want, or by clicking Select All on the Edit menu to select every item in the window. · You can select a range of items by clicking on the first item and SHIFT clicking on the last item. The range of items selected will be highlighted.
