What's My Printer Doing? Select 'Start', 'Settings', then 'Printers'. Each printer that has been installed on your machine will appear as a separate icon. Networked printers appear differently than local printers as follows: Local printer physically connected to your PC
Networked printer located somewhere on the network
To see what a printer is currently doing: Double-click on the printer in question. A dialog box will pop up, and display the print jobs requested by you (and others if it is a networked printer). You can manage the printer using this dialog box -- for example, you can pause or cancel the printing of one or more documents. To delete a print job in the print queue: Click once on the job to be deleted, and then press the 'Del' key.
